Lash Care/Tips

These are just a couple of helpful lash care tips to help you take care of your luxury minks and expand your longevity!

1. Avoid Oil!

Be very careful when handing oils around your lashes.

Here are a couple of ways oils can affect your lashes:
1. Oils can cause lashes not to adhere correctly when glue is applied.
2. Oils can cause your lashes to slide off of the lash band causing gaps and missing lashes.
3. Oils can also weigh down your lashes, which will change the style/original look of your lashes.
4. DO NOT use any cleaning solutions that contain oils to clean your lashes. Try to find an oil-free lash-cleaning solution if possible!

2. Avoid Mascara At ALL Cost!

Always be careful with mascara when handling your lashes!

Mascara can clump onto your lashes and can cause them to misshape over time.
Also, it can be VERY difficult to clean your lashes with mascara on them.

So if you do like to wear mascara with your strip lashes then apply your mascara to your top & bottom lashes (letting the mascara dry completely!) before applying your strip lashes.

3. Always Remove Lash Glue From The Lash Band After Each Use

It’s always a good idea to remove any leftover glue from your lash band after each use

Here’s a couple reasons why:

1. Removing the glue from the lash band lengthens the longevity of your lashes
2. This reduces the build-up of leftover glue and other makeup residue that’s mixed in with the glue
3. Leaving glue on your lashes from multiple uses can create build-up from glue and multiple makeup products which can lead to bacteria building up. (That’s not good when it comes to being so close to your eye!)

4. Make Sure To Put Your Lashes Back In Their Original Container

It's always a good idea to put your minks back in their original packaging. This helps them maintain their shape which helps them have a longer lifespan!

5. Use Lash Curlers To Secure Your Lashes Even Better!

Grab a pair of lash curlers next time you’re putting on a pair!

You can use a lash curler to secure the hold of your lashes.
Just put on your lashes as normal and then just press the lash curler along your lash line for a couple of seconds to secure the hold. *You also can use your fingers if that works better!*

6. Always Brush Out Your Lashes With A Spoolie Brush Before Each Use

It's very beneficial to brush out your lashes before wearing them & after each use!

Here are a few reasons why:

• Brushing out your lashes can help bring the true definition of a lash out.

• Some lashes do have a little shedding/fallout, and that’s NORMAL! Brushing them before use can help rid those hairs so they don’t fall off during use and get into your eye.

• Sometimes dust or just little things in the air can fall onto our lashes and brushing them will help rid anything that may be caught in them.

• This also helps them maintain their shape which helps them have a longer lifespan!

7. Make Sure To Measure & Trim Your Lashes If Necessary

Not all lashes fit straight from the package!

• Some lashes might be too long or too wide for your eyes, so you will need to measure them and cut them to size.

• Measure the lashes by placing them on your lash line. Make a note of where the lash stops at the edge of your lash line, then cut the excess off.

• Then just apply them using your glue of choice.
(Preferably our Lash Bond or Lash Eyeliner Adhesive)

8. Try Looking Down In A Mirror Instead Of Up The Next Time You Apply Your Lashes

Mirror placement makes a huge difference when it comes to applying eyelashes!

A good trick is to place your mirror flat on the table with your elbows on either side, this will allow you to look down into the mirror for easier application.

9. Let The Glue Dry As Much As You Can!

Always try to leave your lash glue on the lash line for at least 40-45 seconds before applying it to your eyes.

This gives it enough time to get tacky, and we all know tacky glue sticks to the lash line better!

10. It's OK to Cut Your Lashes!

Why? Because individual lashes tend to cost more than strip lashes. So cut your strip lashes in between the groupings to make your individuals!

Save money, and time and create new and original looks!

11. Apply Just A Little Bit More Glue

Apply just a little bit more babes!

We all know about those infamous lash corners not wanting to do their only job...STAY STUCK!

But all you need to do is apply one coat of our Lash Bond, wait 30-40 sec, then apply another coat, and make sure to apply EXTRA glue to the inner and outer corners. Wait for it to get tacky and apply! Guaranteed secured lashes all day!

12. Try Using A Bobby Pin To Apply Glue

We all know how the applicator can act sometimes when trying to apply glue.

So to avoid putting too much lash glue on your lashes just:

• Squeeze some glue onto the back of your hand or anything flat.
• Then just dip one of the beads on the end of the bobby pin in the glue.
• And just spread it evenly along the base of the lash strip band!

SIMPLE!

13. Try Stacking Your Minks

Create your own thick, dramatic set of lashes by stacking two lashes!
Staking false lashes will add a little more volume and dimension to your eyes.

Mixing different shapes is always a good look. So go for lashes that are fuller and longer on the outer edges and pair them with full crisscrossing lashes!

14. Always Keep Your Eyeshade In Mind

!ALWAYS! Because this can make or break the look you’re going for!

If your eyelids are on the smaller side and there isn’t much space between your lash line and brow, for example, go for shorter lashes.

Long ones will touch your brow and make it look like you’re sweeping off crumbs or something every time you blink. Js
